Villetta Bruna is a beautiful, large accommodation with its own
stunning gardens and a shared pool. It is located on the hillside
just above the village of Meina on the southern shores of the
enchanting Lake Maggiore. Situated in a very sought-after
location between Stresa and Arona, Villetta Bruna offers magnificent
views of the charming region. The villa is only five minutes away
from the town of Arona and is easily accessible by road, train or
air. A car is necessary for transportation to and from the
villa. There are three
bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The house can accommodate
up to 6 adults and 1 child older than 11 years old.
Your apartment is accessed via your own front door and has a spacious
living/dining room with direct access to the gardens (1000 sqm) and
large terrace. You will also find a beautifully designed and
well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There are three large bedrooms
(2 doubles and 1 twin) equipped with satellite TV and three large
bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. The villa offers a central
internet access point for those who want to keep in touch with home or
business. All rooms have large windows with lake views. Villetta Bruna
has been lovingly decorated with a mixture of contemporary and antique
furniture. The son of the owner lives on the lower level of the
villa during the weekend.

Villetta Bruna, which has been excellently constructed, lies on a large
plot of land (17,000 sqm) that has been divided between the owner’s
house and the villa’s property. The two properties share a pool
and their separate gardens are joined by a gate. The friendly,
English-speaking owner will do everything possible to help you enjoy
your stay, while still providing you privacy. In 2010, the pool
will be open from May 8 until September 25. Pool towels are not included.
This spacious and bright ground floor apartment (175 sqm) faces the
lake and provides generous accommodation for six people, with private
bedrooms and bathrooms. There is direct access to the gardens and
a large terrace/patio, which is ideal for shady lunches and romantic
dinners. The terrace also has gorgeous views of Lake Maggiore.
The access to the property is via a tarred road and remote controlled
gates. There is a garage as well as outdoor, on-property parking. The
villa has only two floors - the ground floor where your apartment is
located, and a lower ground floor with a small apartment with its own
access (the son of the owner lives in this apartment).
The swimming pool, also with a lake view, is situated 100m from the
villa and has lounging areas with sun beds, parasols and a BBQ.
The gardens are well tended with lawns and flowers as well as trees.
There is a natural forest just next to the property, which is excellent
for short walks.
The location is peaceful and private, yet also convenient. In Meina,
which is located 800 meters downhill, you can find shops, grocery
stores and restaurants. It is also possible to order delicious
take-out meals from local restaurants. In only a five minute
drive you will find yourself at the ferry to other lakeshore villages
on Lake Maggiore, as well as beaches and sports clubs with tennis
courts and swimming pools. Two golf courses are within 10-15 minutes
drive, with several others less than an hour away. Just 10 km north is
the town of Stresa, and Arona is about 4 km to the south of the
villa. A visit to Switzerland is always a possibility, as it is
just half an hour away.
Please note: The owners have a friendly dog (German Shepherd) who will
also be living on the property, because of this, young children (1 – 11
years) are not permitted at this property. Bed linens are
changed once a week and bath linens are changed twice a week.
There is a washing machine available in the house.

calls with these telephones; telephone costs for incoming and local
outgoing calls are included in the rent.
b) You can receive long-distance or international calls but you cannot
make any yourself.
c) If you want to connect your computer to the Internet, it
is possible to go online with a User ID and password given to you
by the house owner at your request.
