Collina Greve is an independent stone farmhouse with private swimming
pool located in a very panoramic position. Due to is position on a
hill, it enjoys an expansive view of the rolling Chianti countryside.
Its central location in the heart of the Chianti Classico makes
excursions throughout the area very easy. The towns of Greve and
Lamole can be reached by car in 15 minutes or less.

Perfect for a gathering of friends or family, the Collina Greve estate
is totally private and presents an unspoiled setting for a vacation
surrounded by nature. Its quiet position is ideal for a relaxing stay
with afternoons spent in the solitude of a pool lined with olive trees.
A private tennis court is at the complete disposal of the guests.
Collina Greve is reached by a winding unpaved road (3.5km from the
historic Chiantigiana road that links Greve with Panzano) which leads
up through the woods to the house. Entry is through a remote controlled
gate.
A car is necessary to reach the house, which is accessed by a dirt
track road of approximately 500 meters and is not suitable for
low-bottomed cars.
Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, this typical Tuscan farmhouse
has been lovingly restored by the owners. It offers a warm and cozy
ambiance and the outdoor areas for relaxing and eating al fresco are
very comfortable and well furnished. A pleasant garden with olive and
fruit trees and well-manicured lawns surround the house.
There is a delightful loggia with cushioned settee and armchairs
located at the back of the house. This provides welcome shade and a
lovely area for gathering outside in summer. Garden furniture and an
outdoor parking place are provided.
In the picturesque town of Greve in Chianti - at 6 km away - you can
find bars, bank, post office, supermarket, excellent restaurants,
pharmacy and a colorful open-air market on Saturday mornings.
Other points of interest include Siena 40km, San Gimignano 45km,
Florence airport 50km, and Pisa airport 140km.
Interior Description

Due to its position, Collina Greve is built on several levels. For this
reason, we do not recommend it for people with walking difficulties.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with original Tuscan
terracotta tiled floors, traditional oak beamed ceiling, an open
fireplace in Tuscan stone and splendid views down the valley. Six steps
lead down to charming kitchen with pale blue beams, open fireplace,
seating for eight people, dishwasher, gas range, oven, refrigerator and
freezer. All three rooms on this level have direct access to the garden.
Four steps leads to the mezzanine floor. On this floor there is the
attractive dining room with an oak dining table seating up to twelve,
and the master bedroom (queen) with en-suite bathroom having double
sink and bathtub. The dining room has direct access to the loggia.
A short stair case (6 steps) of pietra serena stone leads to the first
floor where the other 3 bedrooms are located. On this floor there are
one double bedroom (queen) with en-suite shower room, a second double
bedroom (queen). Single bedroom (perfect for a child) with
additional roll-away bed and further bathroom with shower. There are
panoramic views from all bedroom windows.
Facilities
Private swimming pool (6 x 12 meters & 2.5 meters deep, with diving
board), all-weather tennis court (flood-lit for the evenings), billiard
room in a separate outbuilding on the grounds, covered loggia with
panoramic views leading to a jasmine covered pergola for al fresco
dining with table for eight. Dishwasher, washing machine, telephone,
central heating, WiFi Internet, television. Crib and high chairs are available on request.
Screens on bedroom windows.
A cook providing local Tuscan cuisine and simple cooking lessons is
available.
