The villa lies in the centre of the village of Monterchi, a small hill village close to Arezzo, which holds the most famous fresco of Piero della Francesca called `La Madonna del Parto`. The villa was built in the 1700s on the old medieval walls of the castello and you can still see a keep and the remains of the walls that run round the gardens of the villa, where they have made an italian terraced garden holding a private 4x9m swimming-pool, a furnished gazebo, an area for dining outside and several relaxation areas. The villa is furnished with antique pieces and is equipped with everything you might need: dishwasher, washing-machine and dryer, satellite-TV, internet high-speed connection, and the bathrooms have recently been renovated. You can also arrange for someone to cook for you in the evenings when you make the booking, organize wine/food tasting tours and guided excursions. Monterchi is an attractive, quiet village, where you can also find excellent restaurants, and is close to several cultural centres where famous artisits have left their best works: Michelangelo (Caprese 25 kms), Giotto (Assisi) 75 kms, Della Robbia e Vasari (Arezzo 30 kms). Close to the village you will also find tennis courts, a golf course and horse-riding stables.

FIRST FLOOR: large living-room with fireplace and dining-room, small living-room with piano and satellite-TV, 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom with bathroom with shower,1 twin bedroom (beds can be united), 1 bathroom with shower with access from the corridor, kitchen with oven and dishwasher. Italian garden with open-air dining area and private swimming-pool.
RAISED FLOOR (with independent access both from the outside and from the interior of the villa): living/dining-room with corner kitchen, fireplace and satellite-TV, 2 double bedrooms with bathroom with shower.
Other services included in the price: Cleaning during the week 2 hours, 3 times per week for a total of 6 hours per week.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
