In the heart of Tuscany, just a few kilometres from Arezzo, up in the hills in a splendid natural setting, lies Villa Sara, a wonderful old country residence. The villa is the result of the careful architectural restoration of a 17th century building, where particular attention was paid to the use of traditional materials during the renovation (wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and stone walls) and to the search for comfort and convenience in a particularly welcoming atmosphere. It stands at the centre of an estate of 80 hectacres of woodland, with paths and waterfalls, and is surrounded by centuries-old trees: it is an ideal place for enjoying the absolute peace and quiet that only the most untouched places can offer. The house is on two floors: on the ground floor is a comfortable living area, with direct access to the garden and to the nice panoramic terrace with a gazebo for dining outside, and easy chairs for reading and relaxing: furthermore it overlooks the splendid swimming-pool (16 x 8m), lying on a level below the house, an oasis of tranquillity, immersed in the leafy panorama that surrounds the entire property, with green hills covered with woods as far as the eye can see. On the first floor are the bedrooms, all of them very comfortable (en suite bathrooms, satellite television, minibar, hair-dryer, internet connection and telephone) and all of them have been elegantly furnished like the rest of the house, with antique objects and local craftwork, precious materials and warm colours, all selected with taste by the owners, who live in the house next door. They are kind and helpful and have succeeded in creating a quality environment which is at the same time comfortable, warm, and with a family atmosphere: on request they will prepare breakfast, arrange for lunches and dinners with local produce or pizza evenings baked in the wood-burning oven in the garden, they can do the shopping, or organize tours in the wonderful towns of Tuscany with their rich cultural offerings, all of them easily reached from Villa Sara (Arezzo with the frescoes by Piero della Francesca, Cortona, Siena, Sansepolcro, Florence etc.). The house is open all year round, and is also an ideal place for organising banquets and receptions for celebrating anniversaries and other special occasions in an unforgettable environment.

GROUND FLOOR: entrance with veranda living area with terrace furnished with tables, chairs and sun-shade, dining-room with fireplace, 1 living-room with satellite-TV, DVD, stereo with CD player, 1 veranda with tables for breakfast opening onto the panoramic terrace, professional kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, 1 small living-room, 1 WC with washbasin, small bar (where on request breakfast, espresso and cappuccinos can be prepared by the owners).
FIRST FLOOR: 4 double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with a small double bed with bathroom with shower, 1 suite (which also has an independent entrance from an external staircase) with living-area, fireplace and sofa-bed and double bed in a loft and en-suite bathroom with shower.
Other services included in the price: 1 towel per person for the swimming-pool.

Paid on site in cash: Weekly consumption of electricity above 350KW. Only for stays longer than 1 week: 4 hours cleaning service on Saturday (Euro 15/per hour for a total of Euro 60). Extra bedlinen change: Euro 5/person. Extra bathlinen change: Euro 7/person. Extra change of the towel for the swimming-pool: Euro 2/person. Cleaning service on request at a cost of Euro 15 per hour. Telephone and internet connection: according to use.
