Meina is a small village situated on the shore of Lake Maggiore, 5 km both from Lesa and Arona, known for its enormous copper statue dedicated to San Carlone. It is a peaceful town perfect for families, but also located near many fashionable nightclubs for pleasing the youth. The shore along the `lungolago`(the lake shore promenade) is particularly charming and from here you can catch a ferryboat for excursions as far as Locarno.
The period villa is situated near the lake shore promenade; it is furnished with quality furniture and equipped with a TV, washing machine, dishwasher and barbecue. The garden is particularly pleasant, very well kept and directly overlooks the lake.
The villas proximity to Milan, approx. 75 km, allows you to take a day trip to the city. In the area there are numerous outlets where you can purchase top fashion clothing at special prices. In approx. 1 hour by car you can reach the Alps and the Swiss border.
The house does not have a private car park, but in the adjacent square it is usually relatively easy to find parking.
Accommodation (250 sq meters):
GROUND FLOOR: spacious kitchen, living-room with small WC with washbasin, kitchen with dishwasher and hall with washing machine. An important marble stairway with wrought-iron banister leads upstairs composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom with small bathroom with shower, one master bathroom with bathtub, bedroom with sofa and arm chair that can be transformed into beds. Garden directly overlooking the lake with access to the lake and boa for anchoring a boat. Large covered portico with barbecue.
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
Final cleaning: 150 EUROS
