Pieve Ligure is a small town hidden amidst the slopes of the Ligurian Riviera of Levante, in the middle of the stretch of the Riviera known as the `Gulf of Paradise` for the beauty of its unspoilt nature and splendid panoramas: it partly expands along the seaside (where the train station is located, only 100 m from the Villa) and is partly perched on top of a steep hill, where the houses rise up from the green olive and pine-tree groves or the yellow mimosa plants. The Villa is part of a small district that directly overlooks the sea, made up of 7 villas with private gardens and porter`s lodge, hidden amidst the vegetation, which has as its centre a red-soil tennis court surrounded by age-old trees. It is a building from the mid-1950s, which has just recently been renovated, with a beautiful garden that slopes down towards the sea, equipped with many open-air lounge areas, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama stretching out as far as the eye can see, where the sea and the sky become one: an area with sofas, a shaded courtyard for outdoor dining with barbecue and a sun-terrace. Public access to a large rock, flat and long which can be reached by following along an access way on foot (approx. 10 minutes), by exiting the property. The interiors of the Villa are well-kept and elegant on the ground floor, comfortable and cosy on the first floor. Only 1 km away is the beach of Sori, all the popular locations in the area (Recco, the medieval village of Camogli, the National Park of Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo with an exclusive Golf course and the Cinque Terre) are just a short distance away. The climate is particularly mild, thanks to the environmental conditions, all year round.
Accommodation (350 sq meters):
GROUND FLOOR: entrance, on the right large living-room with fireplace, with panoramic French doors overlooking the garden and the sea with dining area and kitchen (with a central island, marble sink, dishwasher, oven, microwave and large double fridge) and access to the side area of the garden equipped with table for outdoor dining and barbecue. Next to the entrance are the sleeping quarters: corridor with desk and outlet for Internet connection, 1 small lounge with French door to the covered, panoramic outdoor area furnished with sofas, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower. From the entrance stairway leads to the
FIRST FLOOR (under the eaves): lounge with windows overlooking the garden towards the sea, 1 spacious kitchen with fireplace (dishwasher, oven, washing machine) with dining area and living-room area, 1 double bedroom with air conditioning, 1 single bedroom with a small double bed (140 x 200 cm) and 1 small private bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with bathtub.
Other services included in the price: Use of the tennis court (to share with the other villas) upon reservation on Sunday for the entire week and not more than 2 hours a day. Air conditioning in the bedroom on the first floor.
WIFI internet connection
Paid on site in cash: Obligatory cleaning during the week: 4 hours a day, 1 days per week for a total of 50 Euros per week. Usage of heating on a daily lump-sum basis. Any extra cleaning hours on request (€50 for 4 hours).
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
Cots for babies under 2 yrs: Cot with bars available: free of charge.
