Villa San Bartolomeo is a nicely restored stone villa located on a large acreage distinguished by a variety of trees, plants and panoramic views.
The sweet village of Paciano can be reached on foot and has several shops and two small
restaurants typical of the region.
The scenic village of
Panicale is also nearby, at about 1.8 kilometers. Panicale also has
a pleasant piazza with various shops and three good restaurants.
This location in Umbria is within easy striking distance of the Tuscan border, thus allowing day excursions in both regions. From the nearby railway
station in Chiusi, about 14 kilometers away, both Rome and Florence can be reached by train in about one and a half hours.
Villa San Bartolomeo can accommodate up to 10 guests. It is possible to rent the villa for up to 6 people at a special rate in low and mid season. Please see pricing below.
Villa San Bartolomeo is furnished in a country/
rustic style that offers a very comfortable and relaxed feeling. There is a large covered and furnished terrace leading off of the dining room that is ideal for outdoor dining.
The abundance of large trees provides ample shade for the garden and various furnished areas throughout the grounds.
The large swimming pool (14m x 6m) is located just a few meters from the house and has a pleasant deck furnished with good quality pool furniture. Near the pool there is also a dining table and chairs and a small outbuilding with an outdoor kitchen. It has all needed to prepare simple meals and enjoy dining around the pool (oven, barbecue, refrigerator).
On the basement level of the house is a convenient laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities. There is also a garage for 3 cars. An internal staircase connects the basement with the main part of the house.
Pool towels are available for an extra fee. Bathroom windows have screens.
