This ancient stone tower house is located in a beautiful dominant and panoramic position just outside the splendid baroque town of Scicli, in the south of the province of Ragusa. The house has recently been carefully renovated and perfectly fitted out and furnished. The outdoor areas are well-tended and provided with various amenities including a 6 x 12 m swimming pool, a five-a-side football pitch/tennis court with synthetic grass, and a wellbeing area with a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool bath and emotional shower.
As mentioned above, Artemisia is near Scicli, the baroque pearl of the Val di Noto which features on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity list. There are many places of artistic and naturalistic interest worth visiting in the area: Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto, Siracusa and the natural oasis of Vendicari with its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.
The house has air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet connection. The center of Scicli, which has food shops and many other types of stores, is just a few minutes away. There are also many characteristic restaurants where it is possible to sample the specialties of the local cuisine.
The sea is around 10 minutes away by car. The best known beaches in the area are Donnalucata, Plaia Grande and Sampieri.
Accommodation (250 sq meters):
GROUND FLOOR: entrance, 1 bedroom (equipped for disabled guests), bathroom with shower, direct access to the terrace.
LOWER FLOOR: large living room with dining area and kitchen area with oven, dishwasher, freezer and microwave, 1 double bedroom (beds can be separated), laundry room with toilet.
FIRST FLOOR : 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub (one of the bedrooms leads directly onto the terrace via an external staircase).
Bed and bath linen: One set of bed and bath linen per week included in the price.
