Located just about 10 miles south of Florence near the town of Impruneta,
Villa Argentina strikes an imposing and elegant silhouette in the Chianti
countryside. This attractive farmhouse is family owned and managed and is
typically Florentine. The town of Impruneta is at 700 meters and can be reached
on foot. Impruneta is celebrated for it terracotta artisans, wine and extra
virgin olive oil. Its thriving terracotta industry is favored by a soil
naturally rich in clay. In fact, Brunelleschi used this same clay for his
magnificent dome for the Duomo in Florence.
Villa Argentina is linked to
this important local artistic tradition of terracotta and has its own special
piece called "Madonna".
The villa is surrounded by a large park planted
with olives trees and cypresses. Its position at 230 meters above sea level
provides a scenic panorama over the valley that slopes down towards Florence.
The well maintained garden features a variety of trees, bushes and flowers.
There are two pleasant furnished spaces for outdoor dining and relaxing. One is
a large veranda trimmed with fragrant wisteria that connects to the kitchen and
offers terrific countryside views. Also offering expansive views is a covered
patio that looks onto the garden with large terracotta vases.
Villa Argentina
is spacious and equipped with excellent comfort. Providing a warm welcome and
local assistance are the two owners, Matilde and her mother, Sabrina. They offer
a true sense of Tuscan hospitality and a special touch to make one feel at home.
Fluffy towels, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are just a handful of the tasteful
amenities provided at Villa Argentina. Included in the rental fee is a light
welcome buffet dinner served on the veranda. Matilde and Sabrina are happy to
set up a tasting of typical products of their own production and a wine and
olive oil tasting. They can also arrange various services such as a cook,
driver, vineyard tour, cooking classes, babysitting, personalized tour of a
terracotta studio and many more.

one twin bedded room. These two bedrooms share a large bathroom with double
sink, shower and bathtub; 1 king bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.

An annex near the villa can be rented in addition to the
villa to accommodate 2 more people. Villa Argentina + annex sleeps 9 people.
Kitchenette with a king-sized bed, television and bathroom with shower.
When the annex is not rented,
it is closed to guarantee exclusivity of the property for guests staying in the
villa.
