Located in the town of Levanto, Villa Miramare is a unique and fascinating
villa belonging to a prominent Italian industrial family. Its position is
remarkable as it is located directly on the water overlooking the sea and the
harbor of Levanto. Built in 1956 on the ruins of the Castello Miramare, its form
is reminiscent of a boat and was purposely designed this way.

its location, guests can enjoy a private view of the Ligurian Sea and also have
convenient access to the Cinque Terre villages and other seaside destinations
such as Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure and Genoa.
Levanto has long
been a beach resort loved by Italians. Its people are known to be hospitable,
friendly and relaxed. The surrounding coastal villages are charming and full of
history and culture.
Take off from Levanto on foot on the scenic trail
and you will be in Monterosso del Mare, the northern most Cinque Terre village,
in less than two hours. Or, from Levanto’s train station, you can access the
villages in a matter of minutes. In the spring and summer months, ferries depart
twice daily from Levanto for the Cinque Terre, the Riviera, Portofino, Genoa and
other points along the coast.
Access to the villa is by way of a public
walkway from the town. This side of the structure can be used by the passengers
for ferry access and it is publicly open at all times. The ferry leaves twice
daily in the spring and summer.
You may enter the villa either through a
doorway from the covered walkway, or through a private gate and staircase up to
the first floor. This is a gated access to the house and, once inside the house,
guests enjoy privacy, as the living and dining quarters all open up to a direct
and unobstructed view of the sea.
Secured parking for one car is included
in the rental fee. It is also possible to stay at Villa Miramare without a car.
Levanto is a stop along the railway running north to the Portofino area and
Genova and south to the Cinque Terre villages and beyond. Monterosso,del Mare is
5 minutes away by train. The walk to the Levanto train station from Villa
Miramare takes about 10 minutes. It is also possible to arrange a shuttle
service for clients at arrival and departure and also a taxi to the train
station.
Villa Miramare has 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a well equipped
kitchen, large living room\dining room, 3 panoramic terraces, TV room and sleeps
a maximum of 14 guests.
Five of the bedrooms are queen bedded and the
other two are twin bedrooms. One of these can be arranged as a queen bedded room
by joining the two twin beds. Each bedroom is decorated in a unique and
tasteful way. There are five bathrooms with shower, each one furnished with
modern amenities.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and updated with modern
appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave) The living room is
furnished with a welcoming couch and armchairs and there is a pleasant dining
room. The TV room is very large with comfortable furniture and features a large
flat screen satellite television and a library. There is also WIFI internet.
