The village of Santa Croce Camerina is located in the province of Ragusa, just a few kilometers from the coast which includes the seaside resorts of Casuzze and Marina di Ragusa (3.5 Km), Kaucana and Punta Secca (4.5 Km.). In recent years, tourism in this area has seen a strong development due to the beauty of the beaches, clear seas and mild climate.
The Parco Archeologico di Caucana has recently been set up in the area between Punta Secca and Casuzze where the interesting excavations of Caucana are located. The great archaeological appeal of this coastal region has contributed to the rapid growth of tourism.
Villa il Timo is around one kilometer from the village, inside a large 20 hectare estate. Consisting of two communicating apartments, it is a modern building with all mod cons: air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room, dishwasher in the larger kitchen, Wi-Fi internet connection, DVD player and satellite TV.
The large garden surrounding the property (approximately 2,500 sq. meters), has a 6 x 12 m swimming pool, a small play area for children, a large veranda furnished for eating “al fresco”, a patio and a barbecue. Inside the estate there is a tennis court that is shared with the other properties. Ragusa, Ibla and many other localities with characteristic Baroque architecture, are within easy reach. The sea and beautiful local beaches are just over 3 Km away.
