L’ Antico Mulino lies in an enchanting position in the heart of Monte Subasio Park just 7 kilometers from Assisi. This stone country house has been tastefully restored and is located next to an ancient mill. The actual mill stone, dating back centuries, can be found on the property and the mill house can also be visited. It houses the mill workings and overlooks a stream where there are two natural waterfalls. The waterfalls cascade into a water hole where it is possible to take a refreshing swim. The entrance to the property is via a wooden bridge that crosses the stream. L’ Antico Mulino offers a true country experience. There are trails on the grounds for hiking and biking. There are many private furnished areas on the residence for reading and relaxing; there is also an outdoor brick barbecue and wood burning oven. The house itself is furnished with rustic comfortable pieces. There is a washing machine and telephone.

The owners are very friendly and will cook, upon request, a typical Umbrian dinner on Friday evenings.
