Good Morning Susan - Villa Mima is beautiful. The renovations are impeccable. It is spotless. The décor is outstanding. Nothing has been left out - from the seating for so many both inside and out to the apron hanging on the back of the door in the kitchen. Having all the furniture, walls, bedding, china, etc be white is very classy. The location was great - we went into Monterspertoli many times for groceries, etc. It was convenient to Florence, Siena, etc. Yves, the owner, was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He couldn't have done more for us!! It was a great week for all of us. One little negative was the clothes dryer. It really didn't dry the clothes all that well. Dryers are very rare in Italy so I wasn't surprised. Yves provides two wonderful large clothes drying racks to use and we put them outside and had that great smell on the clothes from years ago!! I would definitaly go back to Villa Mima and have already recommended it to others. A.S. May 2019 Dear Jim, Villa Mima was incredible, the villa is beautifully cared for and spotlessly clean with fresh flowers in all the main areas. The pool and terraces were idilic with plenty of space for large groups to hang out in, or you were able to find a quiet spot to loose oneself in a book. The views around the property are beautiful and we found that we used the cook the owner recommended on three separate nights because the scenery really was beautiful. The local town was fine with a basic grocery store and a couple of ice cream shops. We found the quality of restaurants close by a bit disappointing considering how many fabulous places there are to eat in Tuscany. Yves directed us to some in the other direction. We would certainly consider going back to this Villa if it was for an extended family vacation, or with another family because of the space the house offered and the much needed nets at the windows and ac.
