I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at San Donato. The place was immaculate, spacious, and all the amenities worked. The owners were very gracious, hospitable, welcoming, and always available. The place was a terrific value. We enjoyed the privacy and almost total isolation. San Donato was a refreshing, quiet, sleepy, friendly town. The Villa was very accessible to the major Florence to Pisa highway. It was about as centrally located as possible in Tuscany. Very ideal for our driving vacation. We will definitely go back, recommend San Donato and recommend you for listings of villas in Italy.
