Hi Jim, We LOVED our experience with VIlla Pedone! It was everything we had hoped for, truly a very special 50th wedding anniversary for our parents. The directions were perfect with the exception of one misspelled street name of the villa. It read Maolina and it should be Maulina. So when we plugged it into the gps, it couldn't find it. We did eventually get there and when we did Anna Maria had a fabulous dinner all ready out by the pool! The owners, as you probably know, live next door to the villa, so we met him the first night. He was kind enough to share some of his homemade wine, which was fabulous! Anna Maria took amazing care of us, she called one of her friends who owns a winery not to far from the villa and set us up for a tour. The wine maker was so nice and let us try several of her wines while sitting around a table in her vineyard. We ended up buying some and bringing it home! The food that Anna Maria made for us was awesome, we even persuaded her to sit down and eat with us one night. She also took very good care making sure my sister had plenty of gluten free food. She even decorated and had a cake made for my husband's birthday. The Villa was beautiful! Every bedroom was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. plenty of room for all of us. The weather was very warm, so we made good use of the pool and ate all our meals outside all week long! We did lose water two evenings, but it was back on within the hour, so not a big deal. I have recommended your company to several people, thanks again for helping to make this such a memorable vacation for my family! Barb S. June 2014 |
