The house and property exceeded our expectations. It is an attractive modern home and has an amazing view of Positano and Capri in the distance, with all new appliances and furnishings done in a tasteful and Italian appropriate style. It is located equidistant from Positano and Amalfi in Priano with many charming local restaurants of high quality near by. We are eager to come back as we enjoyed the feel of the local neighbors, the convenience and sheer beauty of the location and the quality of the home. The pathway to the villa is covered with bouganvilla and beautiful flowers as are many charming doorways to local houses. The village of Priano is small and inviting and with bars, restaurants and essential supplies available is directly below (maybe 100 or so steep stair steps) with the local Church in sight and its charming bells letting you know the time. The whole scene has a wonderful relaxing feel to it and we enjoyed it very much. Parking is a challenge; the spot reserved is located quite a distance 400 meters down hill from the drop off the climb back up with supplies was daunting for us Florida people, we were lucky to find legal spots all week long to park more closely to the house. Parking as a whole is a challenge in Praiano and we found ourselves hiking up and down the long stair way to get essentials like more wine. A bus schedule in the house would make the property more accessible to vacationers that are not as prone to tackle the stairs up the mountain side. Steve R. 07/2010 |
