We absolutely loved Borgo Casciano! It felt like home the moment we arrived. Our hosts, Andrea and Claudia were so thoughtful and attentive. Anytime we needed or asked for anything, Andrea responded cheerily and immediately to address it. The property was exactly as pictured—just beautiful, and well appointed. And the location could not be beat! We walked into the small village of Mercatale several times; had an easy car ride into San Casciano and easily traveled into Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside regularly. Andrea was generous with his suggestions and tips, which were very helpful. Our only regret is not being there during the summer months to see all the beautiful flowers and fruit trees in their full glory—perhaps next time! Thanks again. S.L. May 2015 We had a wonderful time at Borgo Casciano. We were the only people at the place while we were there. It was so quiet and peaceful that it was almost scary. Andrea was great. He was helpful with directions and when we forgot our 3 prong to 2 prong adapter, he made one for us. The location was great for driving to all the Tuscan towns we wanted to go visit.
