		Aboard the S.S. Montroyal Sept 12, 1927. Beautiful day. Sea very calm. The seasick people are recovering. Danced on "B" deck during the evening. Went to Lampy's room after eleven o'clock and heard a trio sing and play violin and banjo. Some music!!! Trio started to retire at about one o'clock but were prevailed upon to play on "A" deck lobby. We danced until three-thirty. Got to bed about four o'clock in the morning. Lots of fun!!! Sept 13, 1927. Got up at 11:30am. Walked until lunch time. Went aft and took a lot of pictures. Got a lot of autographs. Took Captain Siddon's picture. He offered me a cigarette and I took it and smoked a little. (First I ever smoked.) Saved cigarette for souvenir. Had a costume dance in the evening. A lot of people had costumes, but just as many did not. Danced until 11:30. Awfully good time!!! Paris Sept 21, 1927. After I got ready for bed last night Whit called me and asked me to go to Montmarte to the Cabaret -- so about twelve o'clock (midnight) a bunch came after me in a big bus. We went to Pigalle and saw a wild party. In order to stay at the Cabaret, one must order Champagne. There was a lot of dancing and two Vaudeville acts. French girls very brazen. On our way out, we got in a crowd and someone picked Whit's pocket... Today went to Trocadero gardens and took pictures. Went up to top of Eiffel Tower. Wonderful view of city. After dinner went to Follies Bergiere. Saw a lot of naked women. Gorgeous stage settings. Went to cafe afterwards and had hot chocolate. Paris Sept 23, 1927. After lunch, went on sightseeing trip with Cook's by automobile. It was a very instructive trip. Also went to the gardens of Versailles. Words cannot describe the beauty of them ...
