Rejoice in olive oil as the element of life! Our Ancient Mediterranean Package will take you back in time and allow you to rediscover what ancient cultures have known about olive oil for centuries. It as an essential ally of natural beauty and has always been an integral part of Mediterranean cuisine and a source of good health.

The new Ancient Mediterranean section of the Fonteverde spa combines the knowledge of thousands of years of ancient Oriental healing tradition in conjunction with the therapeutic properties of precious Mediterranean elements. The use of olive oil and salt in many of the Fonteverde treatments adds the Mediterranean elements, which were revered by many of the earliest civilizations.

Our Ancient Mediterranean package includes three nights at the Fonteverde five-star hotel and the following treatments for two people over two days. We highly recommend that all packages be booked as far in advance as possible to ensure that all indicated treatments are available.

The Ancient Mediterranean Package includes three nights in the Fonteverde five star hotel and the following treatments for two people over two days:

· 1 introduction to the spa services with the Fonteverde medical staff
· 1 cosmetology consultation
· 2 visits to the thermal swimming pool with waterfall and hydro massage jets
· 2 visits to the Etruscan Circuit: Sauna, hot rocks sauna and Turkish steam bath
· 2 Bioaquam circuits – use of indoor and outdoor pools with hydro massage jets
· 1 Thalaquam – float in sea salt water
· 1 Salidarium – immersion in bed of sea salt crystals
· 1 Fito Mediterranea – private bath in thermal waters and herbal extracts
· 1 Mediterranean body treatment – massage with brush/olive oil pack
· 1 Mediterranean face treatment

The Fonteverde Ancient Mediterranean spa offers a myriad of treatments. Guests are able to enjoy those not included in our package for a supplemental fee. Possibilities include Phytomassage or Bio-balancing, both featuring the Wood element or Equilibrium that incorporates the Earth element. The Thalaquam massage is inspired by the Water element and this massage takes place in the salt water pool. Further descriptions can be found in our glossary of spa treatments.

The spa package price is for two people and is based on double occupancy in either a Privilege mountain-view room or a Privilege valley-view room. Rates vary according to midweek stays (Sunday through Thursday) and weekend stays (Friday and Saturday).

In addition to the spa elements above, the following is included in the package:

· Hotel room
· Breakfast buffet
· Service and tax
· Access to the Walking Water Circuit
· Access to the Etruscan Circuit with sauna, hot rocks sauna and Turkish steam bath
· Daily morning hike (except Sunday) - A great way to start the day in the wonderful countryside surrounding Fonteverde. The walk is preceded and followed by a stretching session.
· Use of the exclusive Fonteverde kit with bathrobe, towel and slippers.

Upon request: "Lunch in libertà" buffet lunch Euro 36 per person, per day. An ideal break during the day at the spa. You can eat in your robe without the bother of getting dressed again and searching around for other dining options.
