It was a lovely house and convenient for 6 people capable of handling the steps leading up to it. I wouldn't recommend it to people with kids requiring strollers, etc. and clearly not for those with movement difficulties. Also, the streets going up to it are not for timid drivers! Fortunately, we were fine with the logistics. The bedrooms were great and the kitchen was fantastic. We spent all of our time on the patio and were grateful for the retractable awning for the few hours of full sun during the afternoon. The living room was cozy and would be very pleasant with a fire in the cooler months. The house was very well appointed. Del Fagiano trattoria/restaurant near the parking place was the best we went to all week and probably WOULD have gone there every meal out except that it closed for a 3 week vacation two days after we arrived. Stefano is a wonderful and gracious host. I would rent any of the properties that he represents. He went over and above the call of duty and helped us get acquainted with Cernobbio, Moltrasio very thoughtfully and oriented us to the Lake Country effectively. A wonderful experience! Thanks, C.K.
